Dave has experience in product development, business development and operations management. Starting his career with Battelle, an internationally recognized leader of contract research and development, Dave was heavily involved in the development of paper and plastic based products while serving a broad base of industrial clients.
Dave has 17 years of experience with Pactiv a major, multi-billion dollar foodservice and food packaging corporation where he was successful in strategic business development, product development and operations leadership.
One of Dave's key skills is working closely with customers to extract or co-develop an understanding of customer needs, and working with product development and manufacturing teams to deliver a responsive and cost-effective solution. A deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, product costs, and the persistence to continually look for “win-win” opportunities has contributed to Dave's ability to profitably deliver products that meet or exceed customers’ requirements.

Ken has experience running successful businesses, developing new products, managing markets, and managing production facilities. Starting his career with Amoco Corporation, Mr. VanderVelde was responsible for developing strategic plans and assessing capital investments for a dynamic Plastic Products Business Unit. Later he became the facility manager at two extrusion and thermoforming plants, then moved into sales and marketing and finally into Business Unit Management.
Ken led businesses supplying polystyrene foam trays and plates, molded fiber plates, extrusion laminated paper trays for frozen food packaging, and fluted polypropylene board.
Having started his career in strategic planning and finance Ken has the ability to understand markets and successfully identify opportunities with high potential return for the suppliers. His manufacturing experience helps him to understand the needs of those using the product, and his marketing knowledge is extremely valuable to sell the “Brand Owner” on the overall concept.
